Isabel Dresden was born the third of four children, in Tustin California, to parents Ed and Janeen of Corona, California. She had her first taste of the stage at the tender age of 5, when she was discovered dancing and interacting with the band at an LA Auto Show after straying from her parents side. From that moment onward, she embraced every opportunity to insinuate herself onto the stage. As Santa Lucia in a grammar school play, she took not setting the stage afire by her crown of burning candles, as a green light to move forward. Isabel went on to perform in several plays as well as lead her high school theater group. Having grown up with a fondness for the classics, she would hungrily devour film after film. Even going so far as to call out sick from school, in order to further her "character studies". She could often be found re-watching her favorites in order to study the dramatic genius of Bette Davis and Liz Taylor (to whom she bore an uncanny resemblance in her youth) and the brilliant timing of Katherine Hepburn and Joan Crawford. Isabel also spent her teenage years as a model. At 16, she was flown to NY to compete as a finalist for the face of Cover Girl cosmetics & YM magazine. It was at that point, that her love of fashion truly blossomed. To date, she keeps a fashion blog, and styles friends, family, photo shoots and independent projects. A proponent of having her thumb in many pies, she is known for her simultaneous involvement in multiple projects; whether they be writing or producing collaborations, dance, music and theatre productions, and even designing and creating her own line of jewelry. She has been a model, waitress, designer, poet, stylist, barista and blogger at various points on her journey, and admits to loving the odd jobs that build character. Her favorite on-screen moments have been period pieces that remind her of a bygone era. And conversely, modern and brightly relevant moments that exhort the now, and uplift the soul. - IMDb Mini Biography By: anonymous
