Jonathan graduated from York University's theatre program and immediately began working in film and television. After minor roles in episodic television like Twilight Zone and Road To Avonlea, he scored his first lead role in the CBC's blockbuster mini-series, Conspiracy of Silence. A huge hit in Canada, Conspiracy became an international hit when it was sold to the BBC in England and NBC in the U.S. Jonathan has since performed in over 80 film and television productions, including Jason X with Peter Mensah, Cruel Intentions II with Amy Adams, The Color of Justice with F.Murray Abraham, and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Imporium with Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman. Most recently Jonathan starred in Still Mine along side James Cromwell and Genevieve Bujold. Jonathan's reputation in film and television has been augmented by an extensive voice-over career as well. In a span of 25 years he's voiced well over 1500 radio and television commercials and created characters for several cartoons, including Link in The Legend of Zelda and Troy in Beverly Hill Teens.
