Jeremy is a native of Oakland California, where he was lucky to grow up around plenty of sunshine and open-minded people. He attended public schools and took classes at American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. At the age of 18 Jeremy moved to Chicago to attend the Theatre School at DePaul University and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Acting. He signed with Aria Talent (the acting division of Ford Models) and began auditioning for theatre, film, television and commercial work in Chicago that spring. In 2010, Jeremy played Stevie in Theatre Mir's production of Beautiful City at the DCA Storefront. It was the beginning of a relationship that led to Jeremy joining the company as an artistic associate when the show closed. That summer Theatre Mir produced the semi autobiographical episodical meta-thriller Bang BANG Shoot. Jeremy composed the score for five of the episodes and played the character "Jeremy." He was absent for most of the shooting that summer when he returned to the bay area for a 12-week run of The Fantasticks at the San Francisco Playhouse. In the spring of 2011 Jeremy played Simon in Mir's very successful Caucasian Chalk Circle directed by Jonathan Berry. Jeremy left Chicago in June to return to the bay area again for the west-coast premiere of Tigers Be Still at the San Francisco Playhouse. Like the previous summer, the show ran thru September. After sticking around northern California for the west-coast premiere of The Storytelling Ability of a Boy at Center Repertory Company Jeremy returned to Chicago and spent the winter developing a new play called Mr. Rigby's Compact Disks with Mir ensemble member Annie Calhoun. The play is really weird. Jeremy worked on the world premiere of Tortilla Curtain at San Diego Rep directed by Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse in Southern California. Jeremy is currently in San Francisco working on the world premiere of Another Way Home by Anna Ziegler. Directed by Meredith McDonough, the production opens at Magic Theatre (SF) November 13th. Other theatre credits include: Would (NYC Fringe/New Ohio Theatre), Tortilla Curtain (San Diego Repertory Theatre), The Storytelling Ability of a Boy (Center Repertory Company), Kimberly Akimbo, The Fantasticks, and Tigers Be Still (San Francisco Playhouse), Moonshiner (Jackalope Theatre Company), SHAKESPOD (Edinburgh Fringe), Alice In Wonderland (Chicago Playworks), and Chicagoland (The Inconvenience). Jeremy was an artistic ensemble member at Theatre Mir, where he appeared in Beautiful City, Caucasian Chalk Circle, and the web series Bang Bang Shoot. Theatre Mir closed in the spring of 2012. Jeremy has participated in the development of new plays at Magic Theatre, Jackalope Theatre Company, and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Jeremy has shot commercials or industrial videos for Xbox, McAfee, Citrix Systems, Tapjoy. He holds a B.F.A in acting from the Theatre School at DePaul University. - IMDb Mini Biography By: actorjeremykahn.com
