Kameron Gates is a Director, Makeup Artist, and Visual Effects professional with a career spanning more than 15 years in the film and television industry. He began his career as an animator for Industrial Light and Magic and later Peter Jackson's Weta Digital. Eventually Kameron shifted focus to practical FX and makeup while pursuing a Directing in animation and later live action. Kameron was raised in Petersburg Illinois and Sioux Narrows, Ontario Canada. He graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design in 2001 with a BFA in Computer Animation.
